( I've been drinking natural wine for over 10 years and have come to trust my palette) I have lovely friends that live down the block and host quite often. This shop has a nice selection of old world and natural wine, along with spirits. I always stop in on my way to dinner to pick up something to share. But sadly that will end after last night. I offered to go pick up a bottle in the middle of dinner because we ran out, when I brought the bottle home we opened it immediately and noticed it was corked or had been stored improperly. A normal thing that happens to wine from time to time. Without drinking much I immediately went back to exchange it for another bottle. The employee’s energy immediately changed to uncomfortable. The employee asked if I was sure, its “ natural “ wine its supposed to be funky. I've had this cuvee before an know that it's not supposed to drink like this. Before tasting it they claimed “oh I'm not the best at this” and then claimed it tasted fine to them. Then said I have to call my boss after I help these people. As I stood there waiting…. Called their boss… no answer…. Meanwhile I'm missing dinner… It got to a point that I realized I wasn't going to be offered an exchange, when I've had corked bottles before I've never been met with such difficulty to exchange the bottle at other reputable wine shops. I left without the exchange, I didn't want to spend my evening in the wine shop. Unfortunately I'll cease to visit this shop anymore. I remember visiting the shop in the past and thinking how odd its so warm(temps)…

I was honestly super skeptical ordering a large order online. I did my research and only found reviews from a few years ago or people who went to their physical location. But following those reviews, I decided to place an order. I placed the order on a Saturday. On the bottles I chose, it said ships within 24 hours. On the following Tuesday, I reached out because I hadn’t gotten an email saying my order shipped. They assured me my order would be shipping soon. About 3-4 hours later, I got the email saying my order shipped. It got to me today and I could not be happier. The packaging was superb, no broken bottles. Each bottle was bubble wrapped and placed in a sectioned cardboard box with packing peanuts. I was extremely thankful I didn’t receive the miniature bottles of the ones I ordered and get screwed. I got exactly what I ordered. For sure will be ordering from again in the future. 10/10 would recommend No this isn’t a paid review. No I didn’t receive any incentive for this review. This is a honest and genuine review from someone who ordered alcohol online for the first time.

I have made numerous online purchases from De Wine Spot and have always received exactly what I ordered in very good shipping packaging. On my last order, one of the bottles was leaking, an expensive bottle of tequila. Almost half of the tequila had leaked out of the bottle. I would have been happy with a 50% refund, however, they refunded my entire amount. $189 bucks. I was super happy.

This place is great! Bought a few bottle through their website site for delivery. The person that helped me on the phone was super friendly and followed up trying to make sure I receive my box before the end of the day. Forgot his name but thank you! Will definitely be back and hopefully visit the store in person

I saw on Wine-Searcher they had a bottle of something I couldn’t find anywhere else in Florida! They had an easy-to-navigate website with incredible selections especially for allocated items! I placed my order and to my concern had to call and ask for an update 6 days later as I haven’t received confirmation my order shipped which I thought was very odd. The person that answered the phone wasn’t very customer-service oriented with communication & tone in my opinion, but he did explain the situation with my order and told me he was waiting for the item to come in stock and that I was in Group 2, so I had to wait for the first and a second shipment to come in before it would get shipped to me which was potentially (not guaranteed) expected on Thursday (Day 9). For the website to say “In Stock, in 1-3 business days.” I feel is a bit misleading that it wasn’t even guaranteed after 9 days it would be shipped. Once I started asking about the cancellation policy he implied he would try to get my order shipped today if the first shipment came in and to my surprise less than 2 hours later I got the notification that a shipping label had been made. I hope I didn’t get priority over someone waiting longer than me. It came in 3 days later and I’m happy with my purchase and annoyed (in a good way) with how they packaged it which was excellent and secured. Despite the delay in shipping, I would still order from them again if they had something I couldn’t find anywhere else!
