The prices were a little higher than expected, but the wines were delicious and well worth the price. I stopped in and needed to grab some drinks for an impromptu party a few days ago... and Graham and his team were super kind and extremely knowledgeable about the selection of wines (taste/ flavor notes etc). They also have their own delivery service, and they recycle used wine corks which I thought was cute. They also have a membership program (5$ credit for every 100$ spent, which isn’t a lot... but is still a standard type of loyalty program). If you’re on Cortelyou or in Ditmas Park or hopping off the Q train....the QUALITY definitely beats the neighboring wine shops, and it’s definitely an experience to visit. I heard they do tastings too... but not sure when. Overall, 9/10, would definitely recommend.

More than just wines, King County last year moved from a smaller space near Coney Island Avenue to the corner of a busy Cortelyou Road intersection near the main subway Q line station. The shift allowed larger stocks, while giving scope to its useful staff. The shop’s recommendations on wines have yet to fail me. Kings County keeps a tight focus on Brooklyn distillers and local producers, sometimes leaving little shelf space for mass market liquors.

Avoid this place at all costs. Twice, I was sold spoiled wine that tasted like vinegar. When I showed the staff, they refused to acknowledge the issue or offer a refund. Their lack of knowledge about wine and their terrible customer service are shocking. Save your money and frustration—shop elsewhere!
