  This liquor store is near my home, which is very convenient. It is always empty. You won't find the best selection of wines and other liquor but they got all the basic stuff.

  Quite possibly the best Liquor/wine shop in Southern Brooklyn/Coney Island. Not only are the owners really nice, hospitable, and their selection decent, but their prices are very good. I took off a star as it does not have rarer ingredients such as bitters (not really a rare ingredient in 2018), German Gewürztraminer, and real Absinthe; still, their selection is great for an area not known for educated mixologists but regular drunkards. You may be able to find better a selection in Manhattan closer to what you find in Portland where people consider bartending as culinary art, but good luck finding a better place in southern Brooklyn.
