What a great experience at a local wine shop. Off the vine features small batch wines and spirits that you won’t be able to find at your traditional liquor store. Don’t know what you want? Even better. Anthony is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever encountered in my days. He offered detailed insight on all of the products and helped me pick a wine that was perfect for my tastes and interests. He will even help you reach the hard to get bottles! If you want a personalized experience, I highly recommend coming to Off the Vine!

I love Off the Vine. It's a family shop run by people who really love their wine, so they can make good recommendations. I see other reviews saying they're overpriced, but I consider it a treat to shop here with people who are knowledgeable and friendly—they contribute greatly to the Astoria community, frequently throwing wine tastings and other store events—and I'll take that type of communal experience over a dime-a-dozen liquor store that can't make recommendations. And, I don't find them particularly overpriced.

Great local wine shop with great selections and prices! Owners (JP &Angela) are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine. Love the tastings they host, a few Saturdays a month, appetizers and delicious wine, good conversation, warm and inviting.

I didn't want any wine, I just needed to use their restroom briefly. The young man Anthony was very nice and showed me to their facilities! Very clean floors! Update: I returned to this store weeks later to use their bathroom again. Exceptional quality!

Good selection, although i wish they had a wider range of mid-priced wines in the 50-75 dollar per bottle range. Most of their inventory is actually below that and a little bit is higher priced. This is a food place for your everyday go-to selections however!
