Some Good Wine is one of my favorite wine shops! Jeremy the owner has introduced me to many new wines that I now regularly buy. The selection in the shop is a good mix of natural wines, and old-school classics. Most of my ordering is via his email newsletter, but I also like to have Jeremy put together mix cases when the cellar is in need of restocking (highly recommend this option if you want to try something new!). I live out of state (in PA with the state-run system that sucks), and have my orders shipped. I have never had an issue in 6+ years of buying wine from Jeremy.

LOVE this wine store. Have bought so much good stuff from Jeremy over the years. He has it all, at every price point.. every bottle is chosen by him, and he has a terrific palate [or maybe it just agrees with mine ;-) ].. AND he gets to know your taste! You will find bottles here you cannot find elsewhere.. buy them!! you will be happy you did!

Came in for the first time yesterday and the worker was very nice! I asked for a rec and they immediately directed me to a bottle that I knew nothing about so I just trusted their knowledge & they do seem to have a great selection. I leave and check the reviews… 3.4 stars on Vivino which puts it below their average rating of all wines. Got home, it’s definitely on the lower side of average. Sorry, but it’s just cringe to so highly recommend something so mid, especially when decent 4.0+ bargains are common in NYC wine shops! Not a great experience.

I was initially skeptical due to a couple of recent reviews, but once you read them (and Jeremy's very funny responses), and spend some time in the store/getting to know Jeremy, you'll see why the place deserves five stars. In my case, when a bottle I ordered online turned out to be delayed, Jeremy shipped it to me, free of charge. (I live outside the city.) That's a conscientious wine merchant. I'll be back.

Update 2: UNBELIEVABLE! On top of the horrible experience I had with this store, the owner is now doxxing me in their response to force me to take this review down. I am taking legal action. Unacceptable Service, Broken Promises, and Refund Delays Update: After four days of follow-ups, I finally received the refund. Initially, my experience with this company was extremely frustrating. After placing an order, I waited over six weeks with no updates or delivery. A week after placing the order, I requested a cancellation due to the delay. Instead of honoring the cancellation, the company assured me the order would arrive soon. Unfortunately, they failed to fulfill that promise, and the order was never delivered. The refund process was also far from smooth, requiring multiple follow-ups before I finally received my money back. While I appreciate that the refund was eventually processed, the overall experience left much to be desired. Delayed communication, unfulfilled promises, and the hassle of chasing down a refund reflect poorly on the company’s reliability and customer service. Because of this, I cannot recommend them and will not consider purchasing from them again. A seamless process and clear communication should be standard, not an exception.
