Not the best, not the worst. Decent local spot. Prices are high compared to liquor spot on ocean ave and voorhies. Old man that runs this spot is friendly and knowledgeable; some workers are ok as well. Cashiers not friendly at all: no thank you, no hello, no goodbye.

The first thing you see when you walk in is someone greeting you and offering assistance. That's a lot of help when theres such a huge selection to choose from. I can't say how legit or qualified their recommendations are but I can't tell apart a pinot grigio from a chardonnay either. I'm a whiskey guy first and I'm being real when I say this is the largest selection of whiskey you can find retail, bar none. Fair prices and the deals they offer are better than wholesalers. I come back here for all my liquor and wines.

This place has gone down hill. I used to come here in the past and the wines have gotten worse quality over time. the staff kept recommending wines I knew were not good. When I insisted that I just wanted to look around, the staff kept hovering over me the entire time I was in the store. When I decided I didn't like anything I saw (because everything is now just low quality, cheap wines), the staff snidely said to each other "man this guy just wants to walk around and not buy anything". Yes, I just wanted to look for something I like. Now I will never come back. I really wanted to come in to buy something but that was such an unpleasant shopping experience

Fantastic store for your libation collection. I have had the pleasure of being introduced to this store by a former colleague who resides in the neighborhood. Ask for Jeff, and he will certainly provide you with some amazing options. I have since moved to The Midwest but when I travel East to pick up a few items, I plan to stop by the store to pick up a case of a coffee liquor to bring back for myself and Christmas gifts this year. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful and huge store!!! Thousands of wines including hundreds of kosher wines to choose from, if they don’t have it, they will get it for you! They will beat any NY advertised price making them more than competitive in pricing. Their staff is attentive, polite and pretty knowledgeable. If they do not know, they will find out for you. Their manager is extremely knowledgeable in wines and spirits and Jeff’s palate can not be beat! Look for “Jeff’s Picks” and you are sure to find an amazing bottle of wine in all price ranges! The spirit selections are incredible as well. I have personally seen some rare finds there, such as ALL of the Pappy Van Winkle Burbons and Rye! Tops has been owned by the SAME family & has been servicing the community for OVER 75 years! It’s understandable why!! Highly recommended!!
