Customer reviews indicate a range of concerns regarding this establishment. One recurring issue is the quality of the ice sold, with customers reporting that it is often partially melted and wet. Additionally, some customers have expressed frustration with the limited soda options, specifically the lack of variety packs.

A significant concern raised by multiple reviewers is the lack of visible pricing on goods. This has led to instances of perceived price gouging, with one customer reporting a substantial price discrepancy for a case of water between what they were initially told and what they were charged at the register. This experience has led to strong negative feedback regarding the store's pricing practices.

Based on customer reviews, potential customers should be aware of the reported issues with ice quality, limited soda variety, and the lack of visible pricing, which has resulted in accusations of price gouging. Exercise caution and verify prices before purchasing.

Horrible. The ice is always melting, so you get a bag of partially melted wet ice. Why don't they carry a variety pack of sodas? I remember those when I was a kid. Great for parties. Everybody had a choice of sodas to choose from. At this place you have to decide on one brand at a time and buy that. Maybe I don't want 30 cokes, 30 Sunkist...

There are no prices on goods. A case of 40 Poland spring water are over priced for a wholesale. The girl charged me over $15 for a case of Poland spring water that cost less than $9 at the local grocery store. When I came in the store I asked the man how much he said $5 a case but when I went to the cashier she said $15. NEVER again. This is why it's not wise to shop at stores that do not list their prices up front. Straight price gouging.

I actually had a very pleasant experience ordering a keg of Coors Light for my birthday party over the phone, but come delivery day everything went downhill. When they asked me when I needed it, I said anytime before 7pm, as that's when my guests would be arriving. So they had from 9am to 7pm and it was delivered an hour late. What's worse is that once it arrived it was foamy and skunky. I am used to kegs being a little bit foamy when they arrive, but it stayed foamy throughout the duration of the party and even into the following afternoon. Barely anyone drank from it, so the next day when I actually looked at the label on the side of the keg, I wasn't surprised. It expired almost three months ago. I called to politely express my dissatisfaction and was told super abruptly that the beer wasn't expired and that they simply "forgot to switch out the label". I asked why it was foamy, then, and they told me I needed to allow it to "sit for at least 24 hours so it can settle". That's literally not true lol... I also complained about it arriving late and she said, "see, this is why we don't like to give time windows for deliveries." I'm like ok so if you don't give a time window then when the hell am I to expect it?? Basically, they had every every BS excuse in the book each of the three times I called. I know they want me to just give up, so here I am writing a highly dis-satisfactory review to warn others about the unfortunate service at Brooklyn Beer & Soda.

Great selection, but I'm a little annoyed. I got a 6 pack of DuClaw Sweet Baby Java porter, and only 3 of the bottles were the beer that was on the pack. The other 3 were the Sweet Baby Jesus porter. I like it...but I wanted what I paid for. So just sloppy on their part.
