Absolutely lovely wine and spirit shop. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful. The vibe is always warm and welcoming. You can stay and browse and make conversation or run in and out quickly if you’re on the go. Best of all it’s very affordable and anyone working there will provide great suggestions if needed. I’ve been shopping there regularly for two-plus years and it’s the only wine shop I go to in the area, hands down.

The men that own this shop are knowledgeable, amazingly friendly, and true gentlemen. They stock their shelves with wines they believe in and can speak to each wine, giving you meal pairings and the ideal cheese accompaniment. Because of this, the selection isn't huge...but you can trust it will be good. It's the only place I go in Park Slope to buy a bottle of wine, hands down.

The guys at il vino are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about good wine and spirits. After shopping here for two years, despite the smaller size, we have never been sold a bottle of wine (vermouth, whiskey, or sake) we did not like. Marcelo, the owner, will always take time with every customer to make sure they are buying the best wine for their occasion, whether that be a special dinner, a night to sample new wines, or just for a night out. They also have a great selection of natural, organic, and biodynamic wines. Best local wine shop in the area!
