The store is clean and well organized. But it is a rather unfortunate business. People working here know no other word in English besides “next!” When I pay and say thank you, whoever is behind the counter says “next!” When I say hello when I walk in, or goodbye when I leave, I am stared at. The workers are particularly grumpy New Year’s Eve, when they have to rake in all that heavy money. It makes me even more curious as to why some people do not want to deal with people from other countries; the unfriendly, unappreciative people who work in this store seem to be from here, while the lovely, engaging, happy people who operate the corner store across the street are obviously from elsewhere. Go figure. And go somewhere else if you need liquor. Definitely do not park in the lot, which is always packed with people who park, then take the bus into the city. It’s a mess.

So far this is about the only liquor store that I will go and get anything from. In my opinion, I think they are clean and they have just about everything you can imagine. I go to other liquor stores and they never have the type of wine or alcohol I requests but, when I go to Rockaway Liquors! They have everything I need. My favorite one is "Markovic Estates Chardonnay". 😊 the only thing I was stressed out about Rockaway liquor store is that in my opinion and not too friendly I think if they have better approach and friendless they'll be excellent!

this is one liquor store that when you go in there, you find everything that you need. I love that liquor store.

Was my local liqour store until i was rudely told to leave. I went 3 times that day to the asian cashier for my milagro tequila and paid 3 cents over two visits...on my third visit same day, i believe the cashier was an older russian sounding/looking guy, i didnt have a nickel and it was 22.02 he took the liquor out the bag angrily and told me i was a cheap bum and to gtfo. I was hosting that day and it really ruined my plans because milagro is not sold everywhere. I literally live 1/2 block from here but will never return..
