How did I overlook this lovely store called Vintage Grape Wine and Spirits? I've visited numerous wine shops in the Upper East Side, but I must say this one stands out. In the past, I used to buy from Yorkshire Wines and Spirits, but I had a terrible experience with the Spanish store manager who wouldn’t let me in to purchase wine even though I was just one minute late before closing. After that, I started shopping at 86th St Wines. Recently, I ran into AJ on the street, who used to work at Yorkshire, and he mentioned that he’s now at Vintage Grape. It really is a nice store with a great selection. I bought a bottle of Italian wine that I enjoyed, and I’m definitely going to make this my go-to place for wine shopping since I live nearby.

This is a pleasant, medium-sized wine shop with a wide variety of options! I used to visit other wine stores in the area, but now I prefer this one. The staff is friendly, and the customer service is excellent, especially with the helpful suggestions from AJ. I’ll definitely return to shop here again.

Stopped in and was lucky to have AJ help me find the perfect red. It’s a rare gem—beautifully balanced. Nowhere else has anything quite like it. Highly recommend!

AJ helped me find 3 great wines under $27! They have a wonderful selection of wines and spirits. I also love that they have more unique items like lychee liqueur. I like that they have various wine tastings throughout the week/weekend.

I've never leave a review for anything but Vintage Grape Wines and Spirits, especially at this location, I made an exceptional. Started of, my order came really fast, unfortunately, one of the items came broken during transit. I called and spoke with AJ "his customer service skill was immaculate". He make sure I get my replacement if not my refunds. He contacted the manufacture and willing to send me a replacement of their own instead of waiting for the manufacture to send it out first. AJ, went above and beyond, email/calling me every time he received an updates. My replacement came within a day. Thank you!
