I went with my friends. The man at the counter was so nice! He gave us free stuff because it was one of my friends' birthday! I loved the cute signs next to the slurpie station!

The 7Eleven on Avenue M has officially lost my business. At this day and age, thee feeling I get when I'm being discriminated against for whatever reason is undescribable. At 50 years old, I know what it looks like in numerous shapes and sizes. I frequented the 7Eleven and spent a pretty decent amount of money there since I moved to the area, so the clerks on every shift are pretty much familiar with me. Yesterday afternoon I went in to do my munch run. They have a decent promo going, so I went a little overboard. I bought nine items while the clerk had a look as if he was offended. I'm thinking to myself, "what's different today than any other day?"He rang me up, I paid, and he left the counter. I asked him for a bag, and he ignored me. I repeated the request (mind you, he heard me the first time.)He resistantly turned around and replied "oh you want a bag? and gave me a bag. ( Small bag). I was going just to ignore his ignorance but as I strggled to fit my purchases in the paper lunch bag he provided ,that was tearing in my confusion, said "excuse me sir, since when did receiving a bag for your purchase start being a courtesy and not a standard procedure or at least an offer for one? He faced me, ignored my question then turned his head. He segwayed to another customer as if i was not standing there as if like i was invisible! . In my mind i was thinking maybe because of the Bag Waste Redction Law from March of 2020 during the pandemic. would be the best answer to give but as i commanded his attention more assertively , but still professional, he said "oh we stopped giving bags a long time ago a looong time ago to stop people from filling them up and running out the door" I looked at him and asked him was this 7Elevens policy, then his coworker chimed in agreement with the other which i think was the owner or manager. At that point i realized the danger that i was in he could have accused me of anything and his story corroborated and there you have it. Im being punished because an ignorant, weak cowardly individual could not stand to lose and felt entitled to treat a regular customer with respect. In my opinion this should happen regardless of your personal beliefs are. Yes even the ones yo don't like help to keep the lights on,food on your table. I see this happen often at businesses these days. Employees acting as if we should be grateful that we are allowed to spend our dollars there. In conclusion I have no problem with you not liking me for whatever reason. Thats not even my business. However, Mr 7Eleven how about letting everyone know how you feel upfront before we decide to patronize your store. Its only fair that we should have that benefit. Then we can choose not to be offended, disrespected and unappreciated for our patronage. and you don't have to get as unprofessional and frustrated throughout your day because I'm sure The disclaimer would put a halt to any self respecting minority frequenting ,at the least the 7Eleven on Avenue M in Brooklyn, NY

I'm pretty sure I was profiled in this store today. I spent over 60 bucks buying water and a few other health food snacks only to get asked twice in the store if I paid for everything and then followed down the block and around the corner by one of the employees so that he can check my receipt. No apology when he realized I actually did pay for everything like I said I did before I even left the store. I don't pay people to harass me so I returned everything I purchased. Ridiculous. Never shopping there again.

I find the service at this location to be incredibly two-faced. And I am not the only one. The guys here will ACT like they are friendly, but I have witnessed them speak negatively about customers (loudly) when they walk out of the store. And the moment you complain about something (even a well-deserved and obvious complaint) they are Very Rude and Dismissive. The last FOUR times I have been in this store, there have been faulty check-out machines. You are either charged the incorrect amount and it takes FOREVER to fix it, or the credit card machine isn't working. Just today I had to use THREE DIFFERENT MACHINES and I was still not able to purchase the items I wanted. Because this keeps happening, I brought it to their attention. Their fake smiles left their faces immediately and their true (RUDE) faces were on display. I will NEVER shop at this location again, and I will encourage those in the local school community (the absolute lifeline of this business) to avoid them. I am not the only person who has made this complaint, and I am not the only one who has seen their true nature. These guys are RUDE and it is Disgustingly Inappropriate how they talk to and about their customers. They Do Not Deserve the forced loyalty the community gives them.
