Pour has quickly become my go-to wine shop. They host tastings every day, providing a fantastic opportunity to sample and discover the nuances of each wine before making a purchase. Their selection is impressive, featuring a variety of natural, biodynamic, stainless, and vegan options.

The staff were excellent, especially the female staff member who helped me pick out an orange and an inexpensive red wine. I absolutely loved the Cold Skin Maceration Bianco, Sandro de Bruno. I had not seen this wine available at other stores in Manhattan. I wish there were a few cheaper options as well.

“Pour” (poor) customer service. They have lost 2 customers in a matter of seconds. And as you probably know, there is no second chance to make first impression. Was entering with my husband in masks as required by state and lady stopped me right away even though I said we were TOGETHER. Didn’t get a chance to choose wine. Awful.

Pour Wines has a great variety of wines to match most anyone's palette. They have consistently given exquisite wine tastings daily and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. One of my most favorite things about this store is that they have cards which describe each bottle of wine, what it tastes like, it's region, and possible what food it pairs with so if you're not familiar with the wine, or you're in a rush, or are inquisitive like me, between the card and a staff member, you should be good to go. Lovely, sophisticated store, with good energy. I believe their wines start at $15.00 and go up from there. I bought a beautiful Cotes Du Rhone at one of their tastings the other day and was quite happy with it.

I lived a 5min walk from Pour for a year, and my girlfriend an I loved getting our wine here every weekend. I feel like I owe it to Pour for expanding my wine knowledge because they make buying and understanding wine so manageable. Unlike bigger wine stores that have thousands of bottles, Pour's staff selects the bottles they want to sell, so you have a much more manageable selection of high quality wines to choose from. The notes about each one that they post really help in choosing, and the staff are always ready to point you in the right direction if you need help. We really never bought a bottle that we disliked because they do such a great job selecting the wines they offer. Last thing - they have wine tastings every day, and we usually ended up buying at least one of the bottles we tasted because they were so on point with their selection.
