Wow the gentelman behind the desk was a very polite respectful and a lucky man I must add. Whether he's the owner or not I wasn not that it matters much. I just appreciated his time and the knowledge he had for this place and it's becoming. It feels good when someone could answer your question when you really want to know. Lol Now the good parts. The interior design. Those three words explain it well enough. It's not common to have alot of square feet in Manhattan or if you come up with any you pay alot for it so the designers were able to take a different and unique ahaooed space and turn itno this present design that gives it light length space and basically room. The setup of the bottles with the bending shelves and the horizontal viewing angle he focused on was genius. This designed allowed the customer to realize that this place is huge and it keeps curving and extending down the other end. It's absolutely genius and one of a kind. Never see before and it brings class and sofistication to the store. It fits the areas culture & prestige making it stand out among fine wine locations and frankly giving it the excuse to over peice or even simply price whatever they want just by acting as if to become as if and boy are they it. In all my travel this takes the prize for best design for s wine and spirit retail store. It surprised me by being different and the glass walls and doors added to the curiousity of what else is in there. It brings you in the store and every retainer knows that whole point. Enjoy it and try the selection as it's categorized by countries also another unique and different feature that actually works for them. Great job.

So grateful for this place and the service! Had a last minute gift request to ship wine out of state- Ken the associate helped me to not only pick out a good variety of wine at a decent price point but work with me on the shipping with FedEx to ensure it got to the location on time. Really happy and looking forward to using this service again.

I have conflicting emotions about this place. The first time I went there, I received excellent service from one of their employees, which impelled me to come back despite the fact that there are several stores closer to my apartment. Unfortunately, when I returned, the woman who was helping us was condescending and mocked us in front of the other employees. I probably will not go back, as I expect much better treatment from a high-end locale.

The folks at Vintry seems to be careless. I ordered three bottles of 2014 fine Bordeaux wines. They shipped them in the middle of the winter, with temperature at 20 F, without any prior email consulting! I will never order any wines from this store again.

What a hidden gem tucked away by the Conrad. Great selection and really great prices. The owners know their wine and in their recommendations, don’t try to upsell. Worth going out of your way for.
