They don’t like colored people in the back looking at the wine or any drink.They will allow a non colored person in the back without a problem. Last week when I asked to see a bottle of wine the man literally let me read the label through the glass. I go to to Roma liquor at 726 Amsterdam ave between 95 and 96st they treat they customers with all the love and respect.

I've been a devoured Upper West Side life-eater for over a decade. Last night after ten o'clock I read that this store was open until midnight. However, at ten thirty I came across a long-closed door. Now I will never come back to this place again.

I purchased a half pint bottle of Barton vodka and when I opened it, I realized the seal seemed to be broken and when I tasted the vodka-it was horrible and tasted like gin! Hard to make a cheaper vodka taste worse! I went back and the man refused to exchange and refund my $$$. Do not trust this liquor store,

Not only are they open during this pandemic but they are also extremely cautious and caring for their customers. They have signs at the door advising customers 2 at a time for their safety and their customers safety. There was a wonderful lady there (her name is Tara). She is absolutely the sweetest person. I don’t have a lot of knowledge about red wine but she was able to assist me. She helped me pick a great bottle that complimented my meal and it was at a great price! Will definitely go again💜💜 thank you
