An index or textbook like selection. Exactly one of each item at a nice solid entry level. No padding, no fluff, no overly heavy bias towards any particular region or market. That's perhaps the most surprising thing; most stores have to carry what the local crowd buys, which means most stores are full of trends, like a whole table of pet nat in Brooklyn or a tiresome amount of Kim Crawford in Westchester. This is a wine professional's store; like, if you were going through a textbook and setting up a 101 tasting class and needed one of each benchmark style for a particular lesson, and didn't want to spend more than $15/btl on your students until they have the basics down, this place has exactly what you need, with no filler. A Trader Joe's like simplicity in the lack of redundancy; one but never two of a kind of anything, and nothing expensive.

Full disclosure: I'm friends with the owner's family, but I did not receive anything in exchange for the review- I just needed some wine! It's a charming neighborhood liquor store. If you go in needing an exact brand they may not carry it (you can always call ahead and ask!), but there's a great selection from all over the world here- so you shouldn't leave empty-handed (and you'll probably find a few new bottles to try). The staff are courteous and knowledgeable if you need any help. So in short it's everything you'd want from your neighborhood store!

Would've gave it 5 stars and come back for business if......I would've gotten a proper greeting and a little help for a first time customer who moved into the area. Instead I was greeted to a Ms. Diva who was more into her communication apparatus than consumer service and left to find what I was looking for myself. Also they had the same bottle at my original favorite wine store on Riverdale Ave for $2.00 less...I will be back at my place of origin for my wine...

I absolutely love this shop! I had ordered two bottles of wine this afternoon and I went to pick them up about 10 minutes later. A kind man (assuming owner) had brought the wine bottles out, but what was unexpected was that the bottles were placed in a cute reusable bag and they had placed two glasses 🥂 in the bag as well. Now THAT is service. He went above and beyond just handing me bottles of wine. Much appreciated during this climate. Please continue to support this wine & spirits shop during these hard times and after. Thank you!!! 🍷

Wonderful selection. For someone who travels and looks around I was impressed by there selection of spirits. I have not looked at the wine selection so I cannot remark on it. However, if it is anything like the bourbon, whiskey and rum selection you'll be happy. I think it was the owner, who seemed to really know his selection. I like to stop there anytime I'm passing.
