Used to love this place, but unfortunately since the new owners took over the wine selection has changed drastically, not in a good way, and it’s been tough to find a good natural wine in a price range like they used to have them. They still do have some great wines, but not really many affordable ones. Not sure if this is the kind of place the neighborhood needs. The new staff also doesn’t seem to be as knowledgeable about wine as the people who were there before. Will still definitely pop in every now and then for a special bottle of wine especially out of convenience, but not for my more frequent weekly/biweekly bottle.

This place is expensive and the staff is not knowledgeable and pretentious. I was looking for everyday table wine pinot noir. The guy trying to sell me a bottle of pinot noir kept insisting it was priced that way because it’s French and blended with pinot gris - a white grape? I bought two different bottles and they were both undrinkable one was skunked and unintentionally carbonated and the other gave an immediate headache. Should have been $10 bottles and they were more than double.

Love this place! It’s not the closest bottle shop to me but I come here whenever I can because the staff always has great recommendations and the customer service is generally great. Have been here a bunch but most recently today when it was very rainy and they really looked out for me making sure I would hold my bag so as to prevent it from disintegrating in the rain (because that’s what happens with paper bags when they get wet)!

Absolutely love this place. I've gotten to know folks who work there and they are truly the nicest and most informative people. Always there to help me find the right wine with what I want to cook. Cannot recommend Shandi, Hunter, Quinn and Ramona enough for always being lovely to chat with and being the best wine store in the neighborhood!
