Bait and switch, the site lists amazing deals (see pic) but there's nothing of the sort when you get there. Quite the opposite - Gruet Blanc de Blancs for $28, which has to be a world record. ----- Edit: Regarding the response below: actual amount was $28.30 based on my credit card records. That was the cost for one (1) bottle of Gruet Blanc de Blancs. So I suppose slightly less before taxes, but not $18.99 as stated by the owner. See the pattern here?

Nice store very helpful needed a delivery for my wedding back in November Damian help me so much delivery was in queens by airport Damian called this young man over which I remember him the driver from like 10 years ago he asked me what date and time I wanted my delivery he made it happen quickly the best great team work.

The most personable liquor shop on the UWS. They always seem to have some sort of tasting going on. They seem to have quite a selection of wine. I've seen people shop for a number of bottles and then they offer to arrange to get it delivered for free.

Been shopping here for over 20 years. There was a change of ownership a couple of years ago. New owners were generally friendly, but the wine selection has good downhill. Still it was good enough. Now a recent experience has made me stop shopping here. I ordered a case of wine 3 weeks ago. I stopped by three times, and each time I was told it was the distributor's fault, and they'll have it in a "couple of days." They never called me. I have been extremely patient. Stuff happens. Today I went in again and the owner/manager looked at the order, tried to call/yell to inventory guy downstairs, who wasn't answering. Instead of helping me himself or sending someone else to check (there were others working in the store), or offering to have me get something else, or even an apology, he instead just starting taking other customers. I tried to get his attention, and was told that he'll "check later" and would "call me." After a 3 week screw up, you don't just blow off the customer that has been buying many cases a year from you for 20 years. Time to move on.
